The Queen's Cup

The Queen's Cup is wild flower found in the mountains of the western states. Its scientific name is Clintonia uniflora. It usually grows in mid elevations in shady woods. The stem is about six inches high. Its leaves are 4-6 inches long. It has two or three smooth green leaves. It has one pure white flower that is about one inch across. This flower is followed by an unusual blue berry. Because of this, it is also known as the Bead Lily.
