The Striped Coral Root

The striped Coral Root grows in shady conifer forests most Pacific states. Its scientific name is Corallorhiza striata. Its petals are brownish to purplish striped. It is two and a half feet tall. Striped Coral Root's flowers bloom from May to August. There are some coral Roots that are poisonous but the Striped Coral Root is not on that list. It is called Coral Root because its rhizomes looks like Coral.
