Kiggins Theatre is located at 11th and Main Streets in Vancouver. On
September 20, 1935 the construction of Kiggins Theatre began. It was designed
in the Art Deco style, which was popular in the 1930's. So following the
Art Deco style, Kiggins Theatre has a simple design and not a lot of ornamentation.
Kiggins Theatre got its name from John P. Kiggins who built it. This year Kiggins Theatre
will be 61 years old and even today it is a popular theatre.
