Howard Hughes was born in Houston in1905 and died in 1976. When Howard
was 19 years old, his father died in 1924. Howard was one of the world richest
people. Hughes also created and raced airplanes. He set speed records, including
an around-the-world mark of 3 days 19 hours 14 minutes.
