The Yarrow

The scientific name is Achillea Millefloium.

The yarrow is white with a green stem, little green leaves, and white pedals.The yarrow usually grows in open places, roadsides, and waste ground at all elevations. It blooms in late June to early July. The yarrow gets its name from the Greek god Achillea. The Indians used this flower for medicine.
