Bushtits are found in woodlands, scrub, suburbs. You can tell you that you saw a Bushtit if you see this type of bird: short beak, gray cap, brown and lores. Males have black faces. Females have whiter faces. Bushtits eat berries, small seeds, and insects. The bird's call has high, thin, fussing notes. A Bushtit builds its nest in trees and by rocks.
