Benjamin de Bonneville came to the USA in 1803. He was an American soldier, trader, and explorer. He explored the Rocky Mountains and sent an expedition across the Great Basin. Many things were named after Benjamin de Bonneville: There's a Bonneville County, Bonneville Dam, Bonneville Power Administration, Bonneville Salt Flats, Utah, and Bonneville Point near Boise, Idaho.
