OLD GLENWOOD SCHOOL

The old Glenwood School was built in 1895 and closed in 1956. It is down the hill from our school.

In 1908, Grace Zimmerman was the first person to graduate from the eighth grade.

The bell tower had a bell in it, but Gary Ericson, who is currently rebuilding the school, gave the bell to our school because we are the new Glenwood Heights Elementary School. The bell is now in our library.
