Spotted Owl

by Jon

Scientific name: Strìx vària

Most likely you will find the Spotted Owl in the forests in western North America. They build their nests in top of the forests. They have big dark eyes and yellow beaks. They mostly eat mice and snakes. They find their food on the forest floor. The owl call sounds like "hooo-ooo."
