Scientific Name: Tyto alba
Barn owls are found on every continent and usually live on farms. They build nests in trees and old buildings. The Barn Owl has mottled tan feathers above. The underside has white feathers. It has a white face shaped like a heart with dark eyes. The Barn Owl eats small rodents. It hunts along roads and fields to find food. The Barn Owl's call is a loud hissing shriek.
